Olympic National Park

This past week, my parents came up for a visit!  Dylan wasted no time in wrestling Grandpa to the ground.:)  (No worries about Grandpa Richard, Dylan is only whacking him with a spongy/foam thing, hehe).

While they were here, we went and spent a few days in Olypmic National Park.  Here is a view of Cresent Lake.  It was spectacular.

I'm sure it comes as a surprise to no one, that we, of course, had to take in the sights of Twilight.:)

They embrace the book and all the fame it brings them as you can see....

We also made our way to the Hoh Rainforest.  Look at all that moss on top of the phone booth!

Saw some huge banana slugs that were really gross!

Everything in the rainforest was green and covered with moss.  It was unreal, like being on another planet.

Love the red hear against the greenery

We also made our way to Rialto Beach (right by LaPush for those Twilight fans out there) and saw the seastacks.  So beautiful!

This is posted on the city lines between Forks and LaPush.:)  The little place we ate at there had two seperate eating areas, one for edward fans, and one (a bigger one since it was in LaPush) for Jacob fans.:)  They also had a Twilight menu, and lifesize cutouts of Jacob and Edward.  Madeline kept wondering who they were.  It was kind of funny.  The whole time I sat eating, I had the feeling someone was standing behind me staring, just to turn around and see the cutout of Jacob....:)  It was so much fun, and the weather was so "Twilightish", kind of rainy and overcast.  We kept searching(and hoping) for a glimpse of Edward....
