Our 1st Real Christmas Tree and Snowflake Lane

Since we have been married, Dave and I have only had a fake Christmas tree.  Well, last time we put that tree up, some of the lights were going out.  So, being in WA and all, we thought it would be a good time to get our 1st real tree.  Here it is coming home with us

Only problem with a real tree is they don't come prelit with lights:)  So after I put on the lights, the kids decorated the tree, and had so much fun looking through all the ornaments they have made the past few years.

At the nearby mall in Bellevue, each night in December they do something called "Snowflake Lane". We had heard good things about it, so we decided to see for ourselves what the fuss was about.  And it was great!  Every night at 7 pm there is a parade that goes down the sidewalk with lots of Christmas characters and a drum line playing Christmas songs.  They also blow bubbles off the top of the building that look like snowflakes coming down.

Dylan impressed all around us with his awesome dance moves:)

We had so much fun, and I think this will quickly become a new tradition for us to go to each year (along with everyone one else in east side Seattle, haha)
