Random Pictures

Spring is here, which means school is done in our family. This past Monday the kids Nursery School had a field trip to the park to celebrate the end of the year. The kids got to ride on a big, yellow bus down to the park, which was probably the highlight of the whole trip for Scott and Madeline. They then had a snack, and then each got called up to recieve a little certificate.

They then went and fed the ducks and geese by the water. These baby gosling's were so cute!

At the end of the field trip, the kids got to ride the bus back to school. It was a sunny, but cold and windy day (as you can tell since Madeline has her hood up around her face.) They have absolutely loved their Nursery school and look forward to going again next year.

This is Dylan after waking up from a nap last week. As you can see, his hair was getting a "little" out of control. Since last time I cut his hair turned out just "OK", we decided to go visit my friend Trina, who professionally cuts hair.

Doesn't he look so handsome?!?! She did such a great job. It's funny that when you cut kids hair, they look older afterwards. Thank goodness he is still my baby though.:)

A few weeks ago, Scott and Madeline filled up their sticker charts, so we took them to get a toy. They both wanted these inflatable kites. Scott got Spiderman (what else is there, right?), and Madeline got a Barbie one. We hadn't got a chance to fly them until last week. Unfortunately, they didn't work out so well. We couldn't really get them up high, but luckily the kids didn't seem to mind. They did get tired from running around the field by our apartment though. Walking back, Scott got his kite stuck in a bush and it now has a hole in it. I guess we will need to get better kites next time!:):)

Lastly, yesterday a rabbit was hanging around outside on our porch, so Scott and Madeline wanted to feed him some carrots. They put about four baby carrots right outside the sliding door, but, to their disappointment, the rabbit just sat under the bush and looked at them. This morning Dave asked them if the rabbit had eaten the carrots last night. When they ran to check, he was right there having his breakfast of carrots on our porch. Dave went to get a picture, but, by that time, he had moved the carrots under the bush again. The kids love living where deer, rabbits, squirels, and frogs commonly are found outside around where we live. Especialy now that it is warmer.

Well, Dave is done with school (yay!), and we have a week to do some fun things. More posts to come!:)
