This Christmas was spent with just our family here in NewYork. On Chrsitmas Eve we went over to our friends/ family, the Robertson's house, for a nice dinner. For those who don't know, Dave's brother and Dan Robertson's sister are married. We happily claim them as family. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Scott especially loves to go to their house because they have a big table with a train set up on it. He played with the train for quite awhile before dinner.

After dinner, the kids all put on a reenactment of the Bible Christmas story, while Dan read from the bible and Dave played the music on the piano. Scott and Madeline got to play Mary and Joseph.

Here are some of the other kids, I think they were the wise men.

On Chrsitmas morning, Scott and Madeline got up and saw what Santa had brought them in their stockings. One of their favorite toys they each got was a sword.

Scott also got a GeoTrax Airport from Grandma and Grandpa. When sitting on Santa's lap, he said he wanted a GeoTrax Airport and a Lightning McQueen for Chrsitmas. So...

He got yet another Lightning McQueen racecar to go with this ever growing collection. Will he ever get enough? His grandma and grandpa also got him a sweats outfit all in Lightning McQueen too. He is always wanting to wear that now!

Madeline got an Ariel mermaid doll and some other princess toys.

Dylan's first Christmas was pretty good. As expected, he was very interested in all the wrapping paper and boxes. He did try to open a few presents, but in the end Scott and Madeline opened them for him.

One of Scott and Madeline's favorite things to do now, is to "sword" dad. In fact, dad had to buy his own sword this week to defend himself, since Santa forgot to bring him one. Scott absolutely LOVES to beat up on his dad. It is quite hilarious to watch!

Here is Dylan riding on his push toy. This also stands up so he can walk with it too. He is almost ten months old. He can't walk yet, but we expect he will do it in the next couple of months. Madeline didn't walk until 15 months and Scott was about 17 months, so he will most likely be our earliest walker!

Here is our "Babyzilla"! He is always wanting to play with Scott's Geo Trax city and pick up the trains and people. He really does look like a Baby Godzilla around it!
Well, we had a fun and busy Christmas this year! We hope everyone had a happy holiday as well!

Your quiet Christmas looks lovely. We also spent holiday with just our little family. It was fun but very quiet.
Isn't Christmas in New York with your own little family so fun and relaxing. Although it would be better without sick family!
Fun stuff!! Ok, is it just me, is the GeoAirport HUGE? It takes up my entire living room...we look like a toy store! If the kids didn't love them sooooo much...
Love the sword too, BTW. :)
